All competitors, coaches and referees should read these rules carefully. The section ‘General points’ contains general information about the tournament rules; information about the age and weight divisions is in the section ‘Age and weight divisions’.
Competition is open to all Seido karateka
Juniors may enter the Adult division with the approval of their coach but NOT BOTH divisions, or by splitting entries over the two divisions, eg kata with Adults and kumite with Juniors.
We have included this separate Junior division to encourage those karateka who still see themselves transitioning into the Adult division at a competition level, especially for kumite events.
If you are unsure whether to enter as a Junior or an Adult please discuss with your local dojo instructor/coach and seek their advice.
